Patience Grace Alderman
June 7, 2006 – January 5, 2011
Patience was born on June 7, 2006. She was a wonderful little girl! She had a big imagination and loved to play make believe. She was always the center of attention and was truly our little rock star. Sadly that all changed on January 5, 2011.
Patience was 4 years old when she left this world. It seemed to be a normal Wednesday. We got up for school that morning like we always do. Cartoons, breakfast, brushing teeth, getting dressed just like every day.
Patience attended Pre-k and I took her like normal that morning. I walked her in. I remember how she ran up to her teacher because she was so proud of the new fire truck shirt she was wearing. I kissed her and told her I loved her and that I’d pick her up at Ms. Brenda’s after work like I did everyday.
After school Patience would ride the bus to Ms. Brenda’s. She would get off the bus about 4:00 and I usually was there to pick her up by 5:30.
But not on January 5th.
That day for some reason Patience got off the bus a stop too early. When she realized her mistake Patience ran back across the street towards the school bus, I guess to try and get back on. On lookers say she tripped and fell under the back tires of the bus.
Patience was my only daughter and my precious doodlebug! I cannot put into words how much she is missed by everyone who knew her.
Thank you for listening to her story.
