Michael Esposito’s Story

All About Michael…

I don’t think there are enough words to describe our life with Michael. He was born July 21, 1995 and was absolutely heaven sent.

Michael was always a very happy child, with a smile on his face and a special sparkle in his eyes that could melt your heart.

Not to say that he didn’t have his mischievous moments and pulled his fair share of child like pranks; but all in all he was a blessing. As his mother, I will never forget our special times together.

He was curious, inquisitive, and always wanting to be like his older brother, Tony. What little boy doesn’t want to grow up and be like their big brother?

Unfortunately on May 6, 2001 while our family was at the motocross speedway, Michael took it upon himself to play an innocent game of hide and seek. He chose the trunk of my car as his hiding place and was not able to escape. He passed away on May 10, 2001.

My life will never be the same without my little Michael Man and my life has been changed forever. I feel the need to educate the public on the dangers of leaving children in or around cars in memory of Michael. It only takes a minute, to cause a lifetime of sorrow and of never being able to see your child again.

If in my efforts I can save a child’s life; then my life would make a difference for Michael and me.
